Film and Television Production students nominated for the RTS Yorkshire Student Awards 2026!

The nominations span both drama and factual categories, highlighting the breadth of emerging talent within the school’s Film and Television programmes.
In the ‘Best Drama’ category, DICED has been shortlisted. The project was created by Bailey Yaxley, Jasper Knight, Ben Broom, Ruby Page, Ben Peters, Sam Howard and Grace Gent as part of a Film and Television group project. Also nominated for ‘Best Drama’ is Breaking the Bull, a filmmaking project by Elliot Hector.
In the ‘Best Factual Long Form’ category, When It’s Over has received a nomination. The project was created by Katie Rose Abegglen, Ada Collett, Mackenzie Scott, Shreyas Raghavan and Emily Bance as part of a Film and Television group project.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony hosted at Leeds Trinity University on 18th March. The event is open to all students and provides an opportunity to connect with industry professionals from across the Yorkshire region. You can book your ticket here.
