Join us for three 30 minute performances created by the 2nd Year Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance students.

Performance 1 - Eco-Gnomeics

Synopsis: Four businessmen’s get-rich-quick scheme involving gnomes is quickly deflated after their methods crash the economy of a magical world, and a civil uprising amongst the gnome people ensues.

Performance 2 - CUT

Synopsis: It’s Sam’s very first film by a very famous director. It was a dream come true, until that very famous director sexually abused her. One day on set she can’t keep quiet anymore. She speaks out about the director’s predatory behaviour and she asks everyone, the assistant director, the script supervisor, the co-star, the hair and make-up artist, the sound technician and the intimacy co-ordinator, to stand by her side. It’s simple, or it should be. They should all stand with the victim. So why don’t they?

Content warnings: Present - Alcohol / homelessness /Terminal Illness / domestic abuse. Mentioned - Sexual assault / Coercion / death / suicide

Performance 3 - Camp Bloom

Synopsis: As summer rolls around, six children begin their stay at Camp Bloom. Together, they take part in a series of activities to earn badges; however, as the camp’s agenda begins to grow into something sinister, children become divided. Who will choose to stand in solidarity?
