Creative Technologies at York is where innovation meets imagination, where the cutting-edge intersects with artistic expression. We explore areas like game design, digital storytelling, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI) applications in creative contexts, interactive installations, music production and digital content creation. 

York emphasises a socially responsible and ethical approach to technology. We explore the societal implications of new technologies, considering themes like sustainability and climate futures, and the ethical use of AI. We prepare our students with the skills and knowledge to shape our digital futures.
