Event details

On 27 November 2025 a ‘National Emergency Briefing’ on Climate and Nature was held in London: an invited audience of over 1,000 politicians and leaders from business, culture and the media heard from ten experts, who set out implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy.

Launched in April 2026, The People’s Emergency Briefing is a 50-minute film that includes scientific content from this Westminster event with reactions from members of the public and some more familiar faces. It delivers the facts about the threats, but also the enormous benefits of genuine emergency action.

Join us at the University of York Sustainability Clinic to watch the briefing together and discuss our responses with Dr Abi Perrin.
