York Cares will be wrapping up ‘Ready, Set, Rawcliffe!’, our Big Community Challenge for 2026, with a party in the park - championing the changes that have been made to Rawcliffe over September and October.
The celebration is a chance to explore Rawcliffe Country Park and its incredible hidden habitats. There will be music, food, forest schools for families, and eco-themed crafts and activities for all to enjoy.
There will also be opportunities to try out the park's new signposted nature trail, experience our new 'soundwalk', and take part in identifying the new habitats and wildlife of Rawcliffe.
Come along from 1pm on Friday 16 October to inaugurate a new, improved Rawcliffe Country Park!
