Academic Freedom and Freedom of Speech
The University of York and the University of York Students' Union (York SU) are committed to ensuring that our joint and shared community a place of vigorous enquiry, discussion and debate, meeting the commitments to academic freedom and freedom of speech set out in the University Charter.
The University and York SU have agreed a joint Code of Practice on Academic Freedom and Freedom of Speech, to support the University as a place of vigorous enquiry, discussion and debate. This Code of Practice is made up of the following documents:
