Graduate Jobs Fair
Wednesday 8 May 2024, 11am - 3pm, Exhibition Centre, Campus West
This fair is aimed at employers from all sectors, and organisations of all sizes recruiting for graduate vacancies starting in summer / early autumn, and summer graduate-level internships.

Graduate Jobs and Placements Fair
October 2024 - dates to be confirmed
This two-day fair is aimed at employers from all sectors, and organisations of all sizes recruiting for graduate vacancies, placement years and internships.

Law fair
October 2024 - date to be confirmed
This fair is aimed at local, regional, national and international organisations recruiting for training contracts, vacation schemes, insight programmes, paralegal positions and Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeships within the legal sector.
The fair will allow employers to engage directly with students on our Law courses and students from other programmes interested in the sector.

Booking information
To register onto a fair, please complete the relevant online booking form by the deadline specified:
- Register for the Graduate Jobs Fair (8 May 2024) by Wednesday 13 March 2024
- Register for the Law Fair (October 2024) - to be confirmed
- Register for the Grad Jobs and Placements Fair - Day 1 (October 2024) - to be confirmed
- Register for the Grad Jobs and Placements Fair - Day 2 (October 2024) - to be confirmed

We'll contact you by email when we've processed and confirmed your booking. We reserve the right to select and decline bookings to ensure we achieve a well-balanced event.
Once your booking is confirmed, you'll be sent practical information and payment instructions.
Fair package and charges
Your stand package will include all the following:
- A 2m x 2m pitch with electrical sockets and space for pull-up banners
- Complimentary WiFi
- Lunch and refreshments for a maximum of three delegates
- Support from our staff on the day
- Promotion to students on our careers platform Handshake, our web pages, social media and by email
Attendance at the fair is £250 + VAT for the day (or £400 + VAT for two days). Discounts will be available for charities. Payment is made via our online store. Note, there will be a £25 administration fee for any payments via invoice.
Cancellation policy
The University of York reserves at its sole discretion the right to cancel careers fairs and associated events. In the event of cancellation, the University will refund payments in full.
By registering for our fairs, you're committing to attend the fair, pending our approval. This means you will be subject to paying for any late cancellation charges.
If you cancel your booking:
- two weeks or more before the fair, you'll be refunded in full if a payment has already been made. If you haven't paid, you will not be liable for paying.
- within two weeks of the fair, you will not receive a refund for payments made, and will be invoiced for the full cost of your booking if payment has not been received.
