Use You@York to manage your York application. View your offers from us, book visit days, upload documents and apply for a Tier 4 CAS if you need it.
If you have received an offer from the University of York, we'll give you access to You@York. You will receive your username and password when we send you your offer letter and e-mail.
If you've applied for Chemistry, you'll be given access as soon as we've received your application from UCAS.
You'll receive access to You@York within two working days of submitting your application.
How we use You@York
We use You@York to keep you up to date with your application. Our correspondence with you will be stored there. We will also send information to you about actions you may need to take on your application.
Resetting your password
Your username and password are a vital piece of your University identity. You need to keep them safe. Don’t share your password.
If anyone else already knows your password (for example an agent managing your University application), you should change it now.
Please visit our identity manager page to change your password.
If you cannot find your username please contact the IT Support Office. They will verify your identity and will send you your username.
Please note your username will be sent to the email address provided in your application.
If you have registered your account you can reset your password yourself. Please visit our identity manager page, enter your University of York username and click on 'Forgot password?'. You can then reset your password by answering the security questions that you set up when you registered your account.
If you are unable to answer your security questions please contact the IT Support Office.
