If you're already studying at another university, you can apply to study abroad at York as a visiting student for one or two semesters.
We welcome undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research visiting students from across the world. You can join us through individual university partnerships and exchanges, third-party providers, country-specific government initiatives, as a part of your junior year abroad or as an independent applicant.
As a Visiting Student, you will have access to personal supervision throughout the period of full-time study, and you will have the opportunity to fully integrate into academic and social life here on campus and in the city. If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate taught student, we will issue you with an academic transcript after you have completed your studies.
Join us for a pre-application webinar to find out more about applying to be a visiting student at York.
