'Before Hitler: Jewish Life in the Weimar Republic' is the title of a public lecture to be given on Tuesday 31 October by Professor Michael Brenner, Germany's first Professor of Jewish History.
Professor Michael Brenner is the Professor of Jewish History at the University of Munich. He is the author of After the Holocaust: Rebuilding Jewish Lives in Postwar Germany (1992) and co-edited German-Jewish History in Modern Times which won the 1997 National Jewish Book Award for Jewish History.
The lecture will be at 5:30 pm in lecture theatre P/X 001 in the Physics Department. The lecture, which is open to the public and free of charge, is part of the Vanbrugh College Lectures in History series.
