Paul is responsible for the dissemination of CRD research outputs and has over a decade of experience of translating the findings of research into formats for use by a wide range of professional audiences and the general public.
Paul's research interests are focused on the role and use of evidence in decision making in health policy and practice, the development and evaluation of dissemination methods and, on mass media reporting of health research.
He is currently leading a programme of research focussed around developing, implementing and evaluating methods of increasing the dissemination and uptake of research knowledge in practice and policy settings. He is also a co-applicant of the implementation theme of the NIHR Leeds, York and Bradford CLAHRC and leads the CRD knowledge translation service to support evidence informed decision making.
Paul is an Associate Editor of the journal Implementation Science.Current research projects
