Event details

Dr Lynda Dunlop from our Department of Education and Dr Elizabeth Rishton from King's College London will be chairing an event to launch the British Educational Research Association's (BERA) Manifesto for Education for Environmental Sustainability.

Education has a key role to play in creating long-term responses to the social and environmental consequences of the climate crisis. These responses need to be inclusive of the needs of all young people and their teachers. In this event, BERA will launch a Manifesto for Education for Environmental Sustainability co-created by young people and teachers from across the UK. Find out what they want to see in policy, schools, classrooms and the wider community.
