News | Posted on Thursday 9 March 2017

For our next event we are delighted to hear from Professor Bob Doherty (York Management School) on the IKnowFood Global Food Security funded research project. His talk is titled ‘Resilience in Food Systems - Towards a Research Agenda’.

Bob will take a critical look at how resilience is currently being used in discussions regarding food security and food systems. He will then outline how IKnowFood aims to deepen our understanding of the obstacles to food system resilience.

IKnowFood aims to develop both practical tools and new datasets to enhance overall resilience of the UK food system. Further information on IKnowFood can be found by visiting the website.

The event will take place on Thursday 9th March from 4pm-5.30pmin YH/001b Training Suite (Research Centre for Social Sciences).
