AgriFood at York's Academic Lead, Bob Doherty, discusses in The Conversation current challenges faced by producers and consumers of fairtrade chocolate.

Published this week, as Advent begins, Bob's article in research community sourced online news source The Conversation, is titled: 'It’s not a very merry Christmas for Fairtrade chocolate'.

In this piece, our AgriFood at York Academic Lead highlights some of the issues surrounding the ways in which industry seeks to use alternatives to the Fairtrade Mark.
