Our facilities
Our bespoke £35m media centre boasts industry-standard facilities including: two professional theatres, three television studios, an interactive design lab, post-production suites, a cinema and more.
We're also home to the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall, a 350-seat concert hall on campus which welcomes an eclectic range of professional artists.

We have a range of smaller venues, including the Rymer Auditorium, teaching rooms, practice spaces and studios where almost every kind of music is performed.

Equality, diversity and inclusivity
We celebrate and value diversity and aim to advance equality and inclusion through our teaching, research and practice by:
- fostering a supportive and egalitarian environment for all staff and students
- promoting good practice around equality, diversity and inclusion in higher education and the creative industries
- taking a proactive approach to tackling systemic inequalities and the challenges faced by women, minority groups and people with disabilities in higher education and the creative industries
- signposting staff and students to the support available to them.
We're committed to ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion inform the formation of new creative industry professionals, as well as the industries, their practices and products.
If you'd like to contact the EDI chairs about any EDI matters or get involved in EDI activities/committee membership, please contact the ACT EDI co-chairs Liz Haddon and Pete Dale (Semester 1) or Nick Jones and Pete Dale (Semester 2).
