Coronavirus (Covid-19): changes to courses

We have made some changes to the way our courses are delivered to minimise potential disruption from the ongoing global pandemic.

We expect to return to face-to-face teaching for all subjects in the Autumn Term. We'll still be taking measures to protect each other on campus, for instance limiting lecture sizes or changing the formats of seminars. There may also be changes to the locations or timings of field trips to reduce the likelihood of cancellation.

If you're facing travel restrictions or need to quarantine, most courses will offer online provision until 7 November. Please check the details for your course and contact your department if you think you might be late arriving on campus.

Despite the upheaval of the past year, we aim to give you:

  • a challenging, stimulating and rewarding learning experience
  • a safe environment to live, learn and socialise
  • opportunities to have fun and meet lots of new and interesting people
  • the chance to join a caring and supportive community

The health and wellbeing of our students and staff remains our number one priority.
