Coronavirus (COVID-19): proposed changes to courses

September will be here before you know it, and we hope you are getting excited about starting your course.

Given the upheaval of the past few months, we want to provide you with more detail on our plans for teaching, and reassure you that when you start at York you will have:

  • a challenging, stimulating and rewarding learning experience
  • a safe environment to live, learn and socialise
  • opportunities to have fun and meet lots of new and interesting people
  • the chance to join a caring and supportive community

The health and wellbeing of our students and staff is our number one priority.

Proposed changes to taught courses

The 2020/21 academic year will start in September as planned. We aim to deliver as much face-to-face teaching as we can, supported by high quality online alternatives where we must.

We plan to deliver programmes that are flexible, in order to allow us to respond quickly to changes in government guidelines and accommodate the needs of individual students. Find out what's planned for your course:
