Start making connections at York.

Student Connect is a brand new way to meet like-minded peers and expand your social network across the University of York.

It's simple; complete our Student Connect Form to get started by sharing a little bit more about yourself and your interests. After the form closes on Monday 2nd November, the Student Connect Team will put you in touch with your connections. You will be connected with 1 - 5 other students in a group, based on your interests, age group and level of study (PGRs will be connected exclusively). This is a great opportunity to reach out, get chatting and see what you’ve got in common.

In previous years, Student Connect has supported over 2,000 students in meeting new people and is a great place to start when it comes to expanding your networks at university and getting involved in our student community.

The deadline to sign up for Student Connect is Monday 2 November.

Please note: Students will not be contacted about connections until after the Student Connect Form closes on Monday 2 November. Once connections have been made, there will be no opportunity to switch into a different group.

Connect In Person

As part of the Student Connect package, we also run a range of in-person events on campus. These events offer an informal space to link up with your connections, take part in some relaxed activities to make things a little less awkward and help you meet new people from across the University. Further information about these events will be sent directly to everyone who signs up.
