Summary
This project aims to replicate a successful community initiative in the Psychology department, to build on current initiatives within the Chemistry department, and start new community initiatives within the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology (PET). With the hopes of creating a sense of belonging and inclusion among disabled students. Through action research, the student interns will evaluate, strengthen, and share what's working well in Psychology and Chemistry and develop similar initiatives within PET, resulting in the beginnings of an inter-departmental disability community support network and co-designed resources to support the growth of more communities at the University for disabled students at all levels of study.
