Summary
Explored how equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) issues (supporting students with protected characteristics) impact student participation in residential field trips. Working with student EDI Field Trip Coordinator and a graduate teaching assistant, the project aimed to: co-create guidance for staff and students on good practice; investigate and buy equipment that can support students to fully engage in field trips; and assist the development of materials that enhance learning for all students.
