Summary

Brave Spaces was built around our desire to create safe and inclusive spaces for learning and teaching (physical and intellectual): honouring vulnerability and nurturing confidence. Growing from the Theatre Team’s work on Diversification and Decolonisation, the project was a partnership between staff and student co-creators (UGs from different stages, MA and PhD students) that aimed to inform curriculum and module design approaches, with a focus on the form of teaching and learning as well as content.
