The UKRI Global Mobility team are running a series of visa best practice workshops across the UK in the coming quarter to support universities and research institutes to use the Global Talent Visa (GTV) and Temporary worker visa more effectively.

Increasing institutes’ confidence and usage of the GTV is especially important after the UK Government’s December announcements to reduce the salary threshold for the Skilled Worker visa.

The first workshop will take place on Thursday 25 January in Edinburgh, in collaboration with The Royal Society of Edinburgh.

The target audience for these events is HR/compliance professional roles and senior leadership roles responsible for attracting international talent to the UK.

In-person attendance is recommended, but virtual will be accommodated.
