Celebrating Green Impact
Posted on Tuesday 24 June 2025
Now in its 14th year at the University, Green Impact is a sustainability accreditation programme that recognises and rewards environmental practices among staff and students in colleges and departments.
This year, 40 awards were presented to 28 teams, including two Bronze, four Silver, four Gold and 14 Platinum awards.
A new Diamond award was presented to three teams that have achieved the Platinum award for five years in a row: Green Careers, Green Chemistree and International Pathway College.
We also celebrated five Special Awards and 12 Sustainability projects for their tailored impact - one Silver, four Gold and seven Platinum.
Thank you to everyone involved this year. Your creativity, collaboration and commitment are helping to drive real change on campus and beyond.
