Online payslip introduction

Posted on 11 February 2020

In March the University is looking to introduce a new online payslips system.

The introduction of ePayslips to all staff is planned to begin on pay day in March 2020. Paper payslips will still be delivered alongside for the first three months to help with the transition. We are hoping that by June 2020 everyone will be comfortable using the new system and that we can cease issuing printed payslips. Currently all staff receive a paper payslip, wherever they work within the organisation.

Benefits

There will be many benefits from  this change. You will be able to securely access your payslips wherever you are, at work or elsewhere, at any time, on any device. In the long term there will be no paper payslips, which are sometimes lost or are left uncollected. Don’t worry about the information on your payslip changing, the new online payslip will look the same as the paper version and will contain the same details.

The move will also help the University to further improve our efficiency and sustainability, reducing the cost of equipment, paper and time associated with the printing and distribution of paper payslips.

MyView

Some staff currently use the University-run system, MyView, to access their payslips. This system will not be changing and all information currently accessible through MyView will remain.

Assistance

This change will have a positive impact and the University will ensure that everyone is comfortable using the new system. With this in mind we will be launching step-by-step user information as well as a full set of FAQs.
