Research into the post-war history of food

Dr Emma Uprichard is researching the post-war history of food and wants to find out how tastes in York have changed since 1945 and discover more about the history of food production in the city.

Local people are needed to talk about their eating habits, their experiences in York’s cafes, restaurants and their work in the city’s food factories. Anyone with a story to tell is being asked to get in touch.
