The universities of York and Hull have partnered with national education charity IntoUniversity to open a new learning centre to provide long-term educational support to young people facing disadvantage.

The University of York is set to announce a major new £120 million fundraising campaign to help tackle some of the most pressing global challenges, such as mental health, access to education, and job creation.

The University of York is among 30 institutions to sign the new “Civic University Agreement” - pledging to prioritise the economy and quality of life in the local community.
