Join us for a reading from author Naomi Booth, and conversation about her latest novel raw content. Naomi Booth’s first work of fiction, The Lost Art of Sinking, emerged from her PhD on the literary history of swooning. She has since published three novels (raw contentExit Management, and Sealed), which have been books of the year in the Guardian and the White Review. Her stories have been listed for the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award and the Galley Beggars Short Story Prize, and her collection, Animals at Night, won the Edge Hill Prize 'Reader's Choice' award. Naomi grew up in West Yorkshire and now lives in York. She is a Professor of English Studies and Director of Creative Writing at Durham University.
