Lab publishes new research paper on Universal Credit

News | Posted on Tuesday 27 February 2024

The Administrative Fairness Lab has released a new paper about Universal Credit.

The Administrative Fairness Lab has published a new paper on perceptions of fair process in Universal Credit (UC). Based on 50 interviews with UC claimants, Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) officials and welfare rights advisors, the paper provides new evidence on what process qualities matter to perceptions of fairness.

The research was kindly funded by the Nuffield Foundation.
