History of Art success in HRC competitions

Congratulations to Jiyi Ryu and Martha Cattell!

Jiyi has recently been awarded an HRC doctoral fellowship, receiving an honourable mention at the finalists' competiton on 30th June for her project Within, Within, Within: Encapsulating the British Imperial World. To learn more about the fellowships please visit the HRC website.

Martha Cattell won third prize in the HRC PhD poster competition for her entry titled Bone and Oil: The Visual and Material Cultures of Whaling in the Long Nineteenth Century. You can see her poster and the other winning entries by visiting the HRC news pages.
