2014-15 Partnership Studentships

Seven new MA studentships announced for 2014-15.

The Department is delighted to annouce six partnership studentships for 2014-15 full-time entrants to the MA in History of Art (or associated pathway degrees), offered in partnership with the following local museums and galleries:

The Bowes Museum
Friends of York Art Gallery
The Hepworth, Wakefield
mima
National Railway Museum
Yorkshire Museum

Each studentship will provide the successful applicant with a partial fee waiver of £5,000, and an opportunity to undertake a volunteer placement at the respective gallery or museum.

In addition to our partnership studentships, we are pleased to announce a new scheme of awards: partnership placements. In 2014-15, the first of these placements is offered in partnership with the V&A. The award will provide the successful applicant with a placement at the V&A and £1,500 towards the associated travel expenses.
