Tate Interview with Jason Edwards Published Online

Posted on 21 May 2013

Jennifer Mundy, Head of Collection Research at Tate has interviewed Jason about his research into the two sculptures 'The Singer' and 'Applause' by Edward Onslow Ford (see previous news item).

Jason Edwards' research into these two sculptures forms part of the new 'In Focus' section of Tate's online research pages, considering objects in Tate's collection.  This represents a new genre of art writing, midway between catalogue entry and scholarly article, derived from a sustained collaboration between curators, conservators and university art historians, underpinned by journal-class research, but written for a more general audience.
