A University of York academic has co-produced a new exhibition celebrating the life and legacy of influential artist John Flaxman.

Jun Zhang has been awarded the 2026 BACS Prize for Best Doctoral Thesis on China by the BritishAssociation for Chinese Studies (BACS). The award recognises outstanding doctoral research onChina completed at a UK higher education institution and is one of the most prestigious accoladesfor early-career scholars in the field of Chinese Studies.
