CITY College, University of York Europe Campus

The University of York and CITY College have agreed a major strategic partnership.

Together we'll co-develop new programmes across European regions, establish joint research and supervision opportunities, develop new staff exchanges and student work or study abroad placements, and share access such as library resources.

A new campus in Europe

We're establishing a Europe Campus based in Greece as part of our strategic alliance which will see more than 700 students enrol in autumn 2021.

CITY College will offer undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA and doctoral programmes, leading to University of York degrees across a range of subject areas, including:

  • Business Administration and Economics
  • Computer Science
  • English Studies
  • Psychology

CITY College University of York, Europe Campus and the University of York have also partnered with the University of StrasbourgNew Bulgarian University and Athens Technical College for the delivery of a selection of degree programmes across the South Eastern European Region.

PhD opportunities

We are offering research projects in a broad range of areas including Computer Science, Language and Linguistic Science, Management and Psychology studies. PhD candidates will be enrolled and study with the University of York while being hosted and supported by South-East European Research Centre (SEERC) for the duration of their study. Upon completion, degrees will be recieved from the University of York.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, particularly those underrepresented in postgraduate research, who have curiosity, creativity and a drive to learn new skills. A limited number of fee-waiver scholarships will be available but self-funded and externally funded candidates are also welcome.
