Before submitting your application please ensure you have done the following:
- Read through the programme information on our website, check that you meet the entry requirements and choose your session and academic subject option.
Please note that you cannot save an incomplete application form and return to it later. You should prepare the following before you begin to avoid losing your progress:
- A short statement (maximum 200 words) telling us why you are applying to the programme.
- A scanned copy or clear photograph of the personal details page of your valid passport. If you do not have a passport, or if your current passport is expired, please let us know in your short statement. We will accept an alternative form of photo identification until you have a valid passport. Please email us with a copy of the personal details page as soon as you receive it: global-summer@york.ac.uk. It is important that we have this information in advance of the application deadline on 17 May. If not, your place on the programme will be revoked.
- For undergraduate-level programmes only - it is preferable for you to provide a scanned copy or clear photograph of proof of your most recent studies. This might be your student photo ID, a letter of acceptance or recommendation, or a transcript from your institution. All such documents should be dated and include the institution's official letterhead and/or stamp.
We aim to process all applications within five working days.
