Modernism and Translation: A Workshop

This workshop features three papers on modernism and translation:

• Dr Boriana Alexandrova-Isgate (Centre for Women’s Studies, University of York):
  'Mass communication/Miscommunication Across Borders: Joyce, Finnegans Wake, and Modernism's Translingual Wars'  
• Dr Patricia Novillo-Corvalán (University of Kent):
  '"Pampa... That infinite word": Borges, Joyce, and the Language of the Argentines'
• Dr Juliette Taylor-Batty (Leeds Trinity University):
  ‘Untranslatable Modernism: the case of transition’
