Jennifer Egan is one of America's most prominent contemporary novelists. She is the author of the novels The Invisible CircusLook at Me (shortlisted for the National Book Award in 2001), The Keep, and A Visit from the Goon Squad (which won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction, and the LA Times Book Prize). She is also an award-winning journalist.

Egan will read at York from her new novel Manhattan Beach and will engage in an interview about her work.

If you would like to purchase a book or have one signed by Jennifer Egan, you will be able to enter the Bowland Auditorium for that part of the event at approximately 2.10pm.
