The Proposition: Freedom After Neoliberalism

The first of three 'Freedom After Neoliberalism' events.  This session asks what an engagement with the concept of freedom can add to the recent debates on neoliberalism in the humanities and social sciences.

Led by Adam Kelly (English, York) and Alex Beaumont (York St John), with contributions from Werner Bonefeld and Tom O'Shea (Politics, York), Claire Westall and Ziad Elmarsafy (English, York), Chris Renwick (History, York), and Luna Dolezal (Philosophy, Durham).

The second 'Freedom After Neoliberalism' event will take place on 4th February 2015, and the third on 29th April 2015.
