In this well-illustrated lecture, Professor Judith Buchanan examines the textual and performance histories of Shakespeare's iconic play about heroism, kingship and war, and considers the illuminatingly different ways in which the play has been interpreted across its history.  As part of the lecture, two Shakespearean actors will help bring to life the key scenes under discussion.
