Elizabeth Tyler, Professor of Medieval Literature in the Department of English and Related Literature and former Director of the Centre for Medieval Studies, has been elected Fellow of the British Academy. Fellows are nominated on the basis of outstanding academic distinction.
Prof. Tyler’s research spans early and high medieval literature of England, especially poetry and history-writing, Latin and vernacular literary cultures of the Latin West, and the circulation of texts and story-worlds within wider Afro-Eurasian networks.
Congratulations to Elizabeth on this wonderful achievement.
