York Alumnus shortlisted for the Guardian and 4th Estate 4thWrite Short Story Prize

The Guardian and 4th Estate 4thWrite Short Story Prize competition is open to Black, Asian and minority ethnic writers living in the UK or Ireland who are 18 and above. The judges this year include author and screenwriter Bolu Babalola and literary agent Angelique Tran Van Sang. The winner will be announced at an award ceremony in London on 23rd October 2023. Esther, who recently completed her BA in English at York, is an emerging writer from South London and is currently a Scripted Development Intern at NBCUniversal.
