Eligibility

Open to International (including EU) and UK (home) students.

In order to be eligible you must also have an offer for a place on this course: MA in Eighteenth Century Studies

We will consider all successful course applications received and accepted by the end of July, unless another major award has already been allocated.

How to apply

Application deadline: Monday 10 July 2028, 5pm BST

You do not need to apply separately.

How we allocate

We will only notify successful students. Bursaries will be awarded based on academic merit. If you have not heard by mid-August, please assume you have not been successful on this occasion.

Terms and conditions

If recipients gain both full MA funding from outside of York and the internal scholarship, they'll be expected to take up the external funding and relinquish the internal scholarship so it can be reallocated to another student.
