Mathematics Symposium 2014
Posted on 17 June 2014
Do you know what you want to do after your maths or science degree?
Whether you have it all planned out or you just don't have a clue, you should come along to the Mathematics Symposium on the 20th of June!
The symposium aims to inform you about the various careers available to you after your studies, with a panel of alumni ready to share their stories and give you any hints and tips they wish they'd have known earlier. There will then be a chance to talk face to face with plenty of alumni.
Later on in the afternoon, we will move on to a series of short, interesting pop maths talks on topics including the Poincaré conjecture and braid theory,
A free event put on for you by the Maths Society along with the Mathematics Department, there will be free refreshments and canapés available throughout the day!
We hope to see you there!
