Welcome Douglas Scott

Douglas Scott has joined us from the University of Oxford. Doug's research revolves around the experiences of children and young adults in low- and middle-income countries.

Doug earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham (UK) and an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford.

Before completing his PhD, Douglas worked with BRAC Uganda, focusing on vocational training and helping young individuals transition into employment. He has also conducted research analysis for various projects that explore poverty and vulnerability, both in the UK and the Global South.
