Catered accommodation

Catered accommodation includes breakfast and dinner every weekday (Monday - Friday) during term time, all covered within the price of your accommodation package, making eating hassle free. Download our guide for more information. How does it work?

You’ll eat in your college’s canteen. Simply turn up at mealtimes and present your University ID card at the checkout.

  • Breakfast is served from 8 - 10.30am
  • Dinner is served from 5 - 7.30pm

These times may be adjusted for your convenience during exam periods.

All outlets also accept cash payments for meals.

What's on the menu?

  • Breakfast: Fruit juice, tea, coffee and 5 items from our breakfast menu.
  • Dinner: A soup and main course OR main course and dessert.

  • Two slices of toast or bread with butter and preserve
  • Fruit juice and tea or coffee
  • Plus any 5 of the following:
    • Rasher of bacon
    • Sausage (meat or vegetarian)
    • Eggs (fried or scrambled, poached on request)
    • Baked beans
    • Fried tomato
    • Hash brown
    • Porridge
    • Cereal selection with milk
    • Assorted yoghurt
    • A selection of fruit
    • Croissant
    • English muffin
    • Pancakes
    • Bagel
    • Mushrooms
    • Wholemeal bagel

Where is my college canteen?

I've lost my ID card

Lost, damaged or worn University ID cards should be reported to the Information Centre in Market Square. A charge for a replacement card may be applicable.
