New partnership with Universidad del Desarrollo

Posted on 24 May 2019

Rachel Churchill and Noortje Uphoff have been awarded a small grant by the Risk, Evidence, and Decision-Making research theme from the University of York to establish a new collaboration between the Cochrane Common Mental Disorders (CCMD) group at CRD and the Program of Social Studies in Health at the Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile led by Professor Baltica Cabieses.

This project brings together expertise in health inequalities and migrant health from the research group in Chile, with our expertise and interests in systematic reviews in global mental health. The funding will allow for a work visit to Chile, to develop a partnership that will go on to improve evidence for mental health care of international migrant populations.
