Reporting standards for organisational case studies

Posted on 8 November 2016

Our Evidence Synthesis Centre has published an evidence summary as a tool for authors of organisational case studies. The reporting standards outline the broad requirements for rigorous reporting without restriction on methodological freedom.

The evidence summary is based on the Centre’s rapid evidence synthesis which identified the characteristics of good quality organisational case study research and devised reporting standards with particular application to the UK NHS.

The Centre, funded by NIHR, synthesises evidence on a range of topics to inform the organisation and delivery of services. Ongoing topics include support for informal carers, and the provision of services for UK armed forces veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
