Ruth Duberley joins the CIEC team to run the CCI programme in the North West.  Evidence collected over thirty years of CCI shows that it has a significant impact upon children’s attitudes to science and long-term aspirations as well as dispelling negative stereotypes about industry. The programme has a positive impact upon the companies who take part as their employees often take ownership of delivery, while enhancing their communication and other transferrable skills.

Ruth still has ONE place left for a Manchester school to take part in summer 2025, if you are aware of a school which would like to become involved, please get in touch via our email, ciec@york.ac.uk

Our current company partners are Croda and Carbogen Amcis, who are welcoming children on to their sites in 2024-25, and we are always looking for others to do the same. So please get in touch if you would like more information.
