Build local school partnerships

Take your STEM outreach to the next level by opening your doors to local teachers through our expertly designed teacher training events—ideally paired with our STEM communications training for your professionals.

These inspiring sessions, hosted at your company premises, build powerful connections between your people, your science, and the classroom.

Packages start at £500, plus £50-£150 per kit for each school.

The training session

During these tailored 90-minute “twilight” sessions, we help teachers:

  • Discover hands-on, curriculum-aligned science activities that reflect your company’s real-world science and technology.
  • Learn about STEM career pathways directly from your STEM professionals.
  • Explore how your industry’s work links to the science National Curriculum and best teaching practices.

Our expert facilitators work closely with your teams in advance to ensure the training meaningfully integrates your company’s science, sustainability goals, and STEM careers into classroom practice.

The outcome

Teachers leave equipped to bring your science stories to life with their pupils.

Key highlights include:

  • Teacher-friendly timing; held after school hours to fit teachers’ busy schedules.
  • Practical, ready-to-use science activities aligned with your business context.
  • Thoughtful planning of potential follow-up interactions with your STEM professionals and the children they inspire.
  • Complimentary classroom science equipment and PowerPoint presentations to help teachers run activities confidently, linked to your company’s work.

Why it matters

You’ll help shape how science is taught locally, enhance your company’s reputation as a community leader, and give your STEM professionals rewarding opportunities to engage with educators and future talent.

Hosting the teacher training events has been a fantastic way for us to build strong relationships with local schools. It’s great to see teachers learning about our work and then taking that excitement back to their classrooms. By supporting these events and providing science equipment for the schools, we’re helping children connect what they learn in science lessons to real-world industry. It’s rewarding to know we’re inspiring young people in our community and supporting their learning in a meaningful way. I’d encourage any company to get involved and see the difference it makes.
