Drawing on findings from the latest research, plus classroom observations from CIEC's Advisory Teachers, we'll be discussing how missing practical skills can affect the success of practical work, and share a blend of explicit skills teaching, plus the use of context-based strategies to get children working like scientists, focussing on improving resilience, collaboration and disciplinary skills.
