Jane Winter will lead this one-hour interactive online session, aimed at KS1 and KS2 teachers, and will focus on how teachers can use our free downloadable resources to teach, assess, and reinforce key science vocabulary. During the session we will explore the first recommendation from the latest EEF report: to identify and explicitly teach subject-specific vocabulary. Participants will examine the different types of science vocabulary highlighted in the report and consider how to overcome the challenges these present to children.
