Around 150 delegates enjoyed parallel sessions and 4 plenary talks from Mari Lundström (Aalto University), recipient of the Faraday Medal; David Fermin (University of Bristol), recipient of the Geoffrey Barker Medal; Andy Wain (National Physical Laboratory), delivering the Fleischmann Memorial Lecture; Edward (Ted) Roberts (University of Calgary), recipient of the Castner Medal.
Co-chairs Alison Parkin (University of York) and Sam Cobb (University of Manchester) are thankful to all of the speakers, poster presenters, attendees, exhibitors and sponsors for such an interesting, wide-ranging, engaging and inspiring meeting.
The conference sessions showed that with great power comes great opportunity! The conference highlighted how electrochemistry research can help understand the rules of life, enable metal recovery and recycling, deconvolute photochemistry and underpin the design of better energy storage devices.
